Dr. Andreas Skounakis has been in practice for 16 years as a chiropractor in Clifton, New Jersey.  He believes in restoring patient's optimal health in the shortest period of time, through multi-disciplinary care including rehabilitation, physiotherapy, lifestyle modification education of the patient's existing problems.

 

Born in Greece and immigrating to the United States in 1980, he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Rhode Island with a Degree in Exercise Science.  

 

Dr. Skounakis completed his Chiropractic Doctorate the University of Bridgeport, College of Chiropractic.  He completed his Doctorate of Chiropractic in May, 2001.  

 

Dr. Andreas Skounakis served his internship at the University of Bridgeport clinic.  He is active in sports including soccer and golf.  Dr. Skounakis is married to Yva and has two beautiful children, Ilias and Maia.  

 

He has dedicated much of his time and effort to educate his patients in the care and prevention of low back, neck, work and sports injuries along with treatment of failed back surgery.  He has treated professional athletes in the United States, players from the international arena, and is active in various charitable organizations throughout New Jersey..    

Located in Passaic County, New Jersey, Alternative Chiropractic specializes in chiropractic care, spinal decompression, sports specific rehabilitation, massage therapy, and much more to all Northern New Jersey areas.
